ENSEMBLE 2012

For the upcoming International Summer Course for New Music in Darmstadt (July 14 to 28, 2012) young ensembles are encouraged to apply for the project ENSEMBLE 2012.

By September 2011 a jury will select from all submissions a maximum of 4 ensembles that will be granted partial scholarships to participate in the Summer Course and in the project. In the two-week Darmstadt work phase, overseen at all stages by a coaching team of renowned ensemble musicians, conductors and composers, the ensembles will each rehearse a program which they will present in concerts at the end of the course sessions. Ensembles of 3 to 12 musicians can apply for the project until May 15, 2011.

Call for Young Ensembles
ENSEMBLE 2012

Zu den kommenden Internationalen Ferienkursen für Neue Musik in Darmstadt (14. bis 28. Juli 2012) lädt das IMD junge Ensembles für Neue Musik zur Teilnahme am Projekt ENSEMBLE 2012 ein. Eine Jury wird bis September 2011 aus allen vollständig eingesandten Bewerbungen bis zu 4 Ensembles auswählen, die mit Teilstipendien an den Ferienkursen und am Projekt teilnehmen können. In einer zweiwöchigen Arbeitsphase, die von einem Team von Coaches aus renommierten Ensemblemusikern, Dirigenten und Komponisten begleitet wird, erarbeiten die Ensembles ein Programm, das am Ende in Konzerten präsentiert wird.

Bis zum 15. Mai 2011 können sich Ensembles mit einer Besetzungsgröße von 3 bis 12 Musikern für das Projekt bewerben.
